May Ma Ross, MSW

Ms. Ross has over 20 years of experience in resource and grant development working in community-based organizations that provide a wide range of social and educational services. She has served as Director of Development at Chinatown Service Center, Long Beach Day Nursery, and Center for the Pacific Asian Family. She has also served as program officer at First 5 LA, where she supervised the Family Literacy Initiative and worked closely with grantee organizations. In 2010, Ms. Ross joined the staff of the University of Southern California (USC) Edward R. Roybal Institute on Aging focusing on minority older adults research. While at USC, Ms. Ross joined the Chinese American Golden Age Association board of directors where she serves as board secretary. She is proud to support the Golden Age Village because it provides a safe and beautiful place for Chinese speaking older adults to live independently in their community.
