Fundraising Committee Executive Assistant (Mandarin/ English)
Hybrid work
$28 - $32 an hour - Part-time

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Fundraising Committee Executive Assistant to support our fundraising initiatives and committee operations. This vital role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful community programs by providing exceptional administrative and project coordination support. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills, ensuring the smooth execution of fundraising events and committee activities. This paid position is perfect for someone passionate about nonprofit work, with a strong background in office management and administrative support.

Key Responsibilities

1. Executive & Administrative Support

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the fundraising committee, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and documenting minutes

  • Manage calendars using Microsoft Outlook and Google Workspace, ensuring deadlines and priorities are met

  • Handle professional correspondence via email and phone with strong communication etiquette

  • Support office operations including filing, proofreading, transcription, and document organization

2. Fundraising & Donor Engagement

  • Support planning and execution of fundraising events (galas, community events, online campaigns)

  • Maintain and update donor database; conduct donor follow-ups

  • Draft donor communications, including thank-you letters, acknowledgments, and reports

3. Communications & Outreach

  • Manage and prepare social media content (Facebook, Instagram) for fundraising campaigns

  • Assist with outreach materials, presentations, and organizational communications

4. Grants, Projects & Reporting

  • Assist with grant research, proposal preparation, and reporting

  • Track fundraising metrics (donations, engagement, donor growth) and prepare reports

  • Support project coordination by tracking progress and aligning team efforts

Qualifications

1. Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Social Work, Business, or related field

  • 1–3 years of experience in administrative support, nonprofit work, fundraising, or project coordination preferred

2. Core Skills

  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin (required)

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with professional phone etiquette

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace

  • Experience with data management, reporting, and donor tracking systems

3. Additional Strengths

  • Experience in event planning, donor relations, or nonprofit fundraising is highly desirable

  • Strong attention to detail, including proofreading and documentation accuracy

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Work Requirements

  • On-site at Golden Age Village in Monterey Park, CA

  • Availability for occasional evenings or weekends for events

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
