To enrich residents’ outdoor experiences and promote their physical, emotional, and social well-being, Golden Age Village organized a field trip to The Flower Fields in San Diego on April 13, 2026. The event was well organized and smoothly executed, with a total of 46 participants. Residents showed high levels of enthusiasm, and the overall atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable.
At 9:00 a.m. on the day of the event, the group gathered and traveled together by bus to a nearby restaurant for a buffet lunch. During the meal, participants sat together and engaged in conversation in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Many residents who are usually more reserved gradually became involved in the interaction, helping to strengthen social connections among the group. After lunch, participants took a short break before continuing on to The Flower Fields for further activities and sightseeing.
Upon arrival at the venue, the group entered in an orderly manner under staff guidance. The flower fields featured expansive landscapes and vibrant colors, with a wide variety of flowers in full bloom, creating a peaceful and comfortable natural environment. Throughout the visit, residents stopped to admire the scenery, take photos, and interact with one another. The atmosphere was lively, positive, and socially engaging.
After the afternoon activities concluded, the group gathered and returned as scheduled, arriving back at Golden Age Village at 6:00 p.m. The overall flow of the event was smooth, and participant feedback was positive.
